Pellet Therapy, our topic of the month!
WHAT IS IT?
Call us for any further questions or concerns.
More and more people are discovering bio-identical hormones. They have realized that just like our brains, hearts, arms and legs, hormones are part of the human body for a reason. It is not usually until hormone levels begin to sag and lose balance that we start to experience health problems. We live in a world of deteriorating food quality, increasing toxic chemical load, and high stress which is causing hormonal decline at an earlier age than ever. We are outliving our hormones. The choice now is that whether we use bio-identicals, but what form of bio-identicals to use.
Pellet therapy is rapidly gaining acceptance as the form of hormone replacement that most closely replicates the natural action of the body. Pellet therapy uses bio-identical hormones to create true hormone replacement, not the hormone substitution offered by synthetic patented hormone drug replacement. These hormones: estrogen and testosterone, are identical in molecular structure to the hormones produced by the human body. Pallets have been used with great success since the 1930’s in countries not in the grip of drug companies. There is more specific data to support the use of pellets than any other method of hormone delivery.
1.) Pallets offer estrogen and/or testosterone identical to those your body used to make in abundance in your youth.
2.) Pallet therapy is the superior method of hormone delivery because pellets work automatically with your body. The hormones are secreted in small amounts throughout the day. When the body requires more hormones due to mental or physical stress, the pellets are always available 24 hours a day in the correct amount for the body to use. No other delivery method can offer this consistency of hormones released into the bloodstream.
3.) Pellet Therapy is safer and more effective than other methods because the lowest dose can be administered with better results. For other methods to be effective, they often require higher doses of medicine to be administered two times a day.
4.) Pellets are hassle free and convenient form of hormone replacement. Once hormone pellets are inserted, you do not have to be concerned with remembering to take your pills or rubbing on your cream twice a day.

Laser Hair Removal
Start getting your body ready for summer this month
with our special on Laser Hair Removal.
$50 off each session when you start in May
During laser hair removal, a laser emits a light that is absorbed by the pigment (melanin) in the hair. The light energy is converted to heat, which damages the tube-shaped sacs within the skin (hair follicles) that produce hairs. This damage inhibits or delays future hair growth.
Although laser hair removal effectively delays hair growth for long periods, it usually doesn't result in permanent hair removal. Multiple laser hair removal treatments are needed for initial hair removal, and maintenance treatments might be needed as well. Laser hair removal is most effective for people who have light skin and dark hair.
Why it's done
Laser hair removal is used to reduce unwanted hair. Common treatment locations include legs, armpits, upper lip, chin and the bikini line. However, it's possible to treat unwanted hair in nearly any area, except the eyelid or surrounding area.
Before laser hair removal, schedule a consultation with us to determine if this is an appropriate treatment option for you.
Preparing for treatments:
Staying out of the sun, mjeaning no sunbathing or extending periods in the sun and use sunscreen daily.
Lightening your skin. Avoid any sunless skin creams that darken your skin.
Avoiding other hair removal methods. Plucking, waxing and electrolysis can disturb the hair follicle and should be avoided at least four weeks before treatment.
Avoiding blood-thinning medications. Ask us about what medications, such as penicillins, aspirin or anti-inflammatory drugs, to avoid before the procedure.
Shaving treatment area. Trimming and shaving is recommended the day before laser treatment. It removes hair above the skin that can result in surface skin damage from burnt hairs, but it leaves the hair shaft intact below the surface.
What you can expect
Laser hair removal usually requires a series of two to six treatments. The interval between treatments will vary depending on the location. On areas where hair grows quickly, such as the upper lip, the treatment might be repeated in four to eight weeks. On areas of slow hair growth, such as the back, the treatment might be every 12 to 16 weeks.
For each treatment you'll wear special goggles to protect your eyes from the laser beam.

Now offering Powder/Ombre Brows & Lip Blushing
Powder/Ombre brows are meant to create a powder look much like topical soft powder makeup. It is not for creating individual hair strokes at all and are best for clients who want a more filled in looking brow or have brows but want a base color. This technique is the most gentle for the skin and the most natural looking after healing and aging. This is the only technique that will work even for oily skin types & skin with large pores or visible wrinkles. Can last anywhere between 1-3 years.
Lip blushing is a semipermanent, cosmetic tattoo that uses water-based inks to achieve a tinted, natural-looking lip color. It creates an illusion of fuller, plumper lips by overlining in strategic areas and shading the mouth an even color.
